The following letter was received from the The Missouri District of the The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod:

September 18, 2003

Rev. Dr. James I. Lamb
Lutherans For Life
1120 South G Avenue
Nevada, IA 50201-2774

Dear Brother in Christ,

It is my joy to share with you a word of thanks from the pastors and people of the Missouri District.  As our district met together in convention this past year, the following resolution was adopted.

WHEREAS, more than a million unborn children are killed every year through abortion; therefore bet it

RESOLVED, that the 2003 convention of the Missouri District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod commend Lutherans For Life for its defense of life and opposition to abortion.

Every day Lutherans For Life carries out vital ministry in defense of the unborn and care for women.  Every day you help people draw their lives back together after painful mistakes have been made.  Every day you give the voiceless a voice and bring the forgotten to mind.  Every day you hold out the hope of God's love to heal the wounded and strengthen the struggling.  Every day you serve God, and every day we are thankful for you!

May God continue to grant you His richest blessings.

Rev. David Johnson
Secretary - Missouri District LCMS
