Diane Schroeder is president of Lutherans For Life. She and her husband, Carl, are parents of four children. Diane has been active in LFL since 1985 when she helped organize the DuPage County chapter in northern Illinois. She also participated in starting the Illinois federation of LFL and served as its president until her election as an at-large member of the national LFL board of directors in 2000. In 1991, she helped organize Word of Hope (formerly known as LFL Healing Hearts), the post-abortion outreach ministry of LFL. She is also on staff at CareNet Pregnancy Services of DuPage as Director of Communications. Diane and her family are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elmhurst, Illinois. Mrs. Schroeder's presentations are intended for high school students and adults. Preferred settings include a youth, teen, and adult Bible study class, and church organization. Airfare/Mileage: Actual airfare and/or current standard IRS mileage rate to airport or event. Lodging: Quiet non-smoking hotel room. Honorarium: As an affiliated speaker for Lutherans For Life, Mrs. Schroeder is not in a paid position. Therefore, we ask that sponsoring groups provide an extra honorarium for Mrs. Schroeder. The sponsoring group determines the amount of the honorarium. Honorariums depend on number of events. Honorariums begin at $200. Meals: $25 per day unless other arrangements are made. Other: A lectern will be needed. A TV and VCR and/or an overhead projector and screen may be needed. (This will vary depending on the presentation.)
