Lutherans For Life is a pro-life, pro-family ministry, neither a church body nor a denomination but a voluntary organization of "For Life" individuals.

Our Mission . . .

Our Vision . . .

To be a powerful, biblical, pro-life voice and resource to Lutherans and, through them, transform society.

God's Word For Life

Our Philosophy . . .

Lutherans For Life believes that the Church is compelled by God’s Word to speak and act on behalf of those who are vulnerable and defenseless. The crisis of our times is the repudiation of biblical truth manifested in the wanton destruction of innocent human life through legalized abortion-on-demand and the growing threat to the lives of others through legalized assisted suicide and euthanasia. Therefore, as Lutherans For Life, we will strive to give witness, from a biblical perspective, to the Church and society on these and other related issues such as chastity, post-abortion healing, and family living.

A Good Problem

It was one of those good problems to have. What do you do with 37 seventh and eighth grade confirmation students who show up in a bus at the National Life Center? The group, with six adult counselors, was from Christ Lutheran Church, Norfolk, Nebraska. Pastor Leon Rosenthal organized and coordinated the trip. Every year confirmation students from Christ Lutheran travel to visit and learn about a particular ministry in the church. This year Lutherans For Life was blessed with their presence.

So what did we do with them for five hours? We taught them about Lutherans For Life and what we do. We taught them about God’s wonderful gift of life. Then we put them to work helping us do what we do to teach others about life! We had fun!

We pass this along as an idea for others to consider. Make it a day (or two) out For Life! Give us a call at 888-364-LIFE!
