LFL’s 2012 conference will provide a variety of ways to become equipped “For Life” personally and also to learn how to participate in the equipping of others. 

There will be a special emphasis on Renewal For Life, LFL’s initiative to equip Lutheran congregations to be Gospel-motivated voices for life.

dreamstime_16536531Bulletin Insert text: Mark your calendars for August 3 and 4, 2012, when Lutherans from across the nation will gather in Chicago for the Lutherans for Life National Conference, “Equipping the Saints for Life.” Please join us at the Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, Illinois, to learn how to become equipped “For Life” personally and also to learn how to participate in the equipping of others. Rev. Ken Klaus, speaker emeritus of The Lutheran Hour will bring the keynote address at the Friday evening banquet. Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life will present at a plenary session Saturday morning. Workshop topics include dealing with post-abortion healing, end of life issues, ministry in the church, ideas and resources, activism, and sidewalk counseling.
