On June 9, the Lutherans For Life board of directors, state federation presidents, and national staff, held their 2017 retreat at Lied Lodge & Conference Center in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

The current Lutherans For Life organization stands on the shoulders of some wonderful people to whom God gave a unique vision and vocation. As we, this year especially, are endeavoring to discern God’s plan for LFL going forward, it’s also important for us to look back. So, we brought together a few of the “LFL Pioneers” to learn from them and to give thanks to God for the work that He did through them.

In this panel discussion, former LFL executive directors Rev. Ed Fehskens and Rev. Dr. James I. Lamb, join with former board Rev. Don Richman and LFL co-founder, Rev. Dr. Sam Nafzger talked about LFL’s past and how it relates to our current and future mission.
