He also leads confirmation retreats for his congregation.

He is strongly committed to being Confessionally Lutheran, and is committed to upholding the inerrancy and infallibility of the Bible. He believes with St. Paul that we must in all we teach and proclaim point people to Christ for their salvation making clear the gospel as the means of grace to achieve this work. He believes in strong catechesis for both youth and adults. He believes in biblical absolute truth and moral absolutes. He believes that worldview education is a key component for believers to be equipped to discern truth from error and readied to engage the world with both Law and Gospel.

He also believes that the teaching church is the church that will grow strong in the Lord as people grow in their knowledge and confidence that the Bible is in all its parts the very Word of God and thus readied to be a growing church. Further, he believes that in an increasingly secular and pagan world, we must evangelize using St. Paul’s methods as outlined in Act 17: 22 ff.
