Post- Abortion Syndrome and Healing
In speaking on abortion, Jean will share personal experience—which is a little bit different from other individual experiences—and how it affected her. She will also share how God has taken this experience to help her work with others. With the support of a local pregnancy center, Jean began a PAS recovery group ministry entitled, “Hope in the Mourning.” Jean can also share how abortion affects men, grandparents, and other family members. Jean says, "When I speak on abortion, it is the grandparents who seem me out afterwards to briefly share their experience."

Supporting Women in Unplanned Pregnancies
Crisis Pregnancy?” – Why I don’t believe that pregnancy is a “crisis”; we get ourselves into crisis situations. Children are a gift from God no matter how they are conceived. Have a prepared bible study. The examples I use are Sarai (Sarah), Bathsheba and Mary, mother of Jesus.

Adoption
Jean shares personal experiences as a birth grandmother. In an adult Bible class setting, Jean shares three personal stories:

  • birth grandmother
  • adoptive parents
  • an adoptive child who is now an adult.

Jean has also prepared a Bible studies on Joseph, Jesus’ earthly father, David and Bathsheba, and Adam and Eve.
