Rev. Paul M. Clark has been very active in pro-life ministries. He has served as conference and banquet speaker for Right to Life of Michigan for a number of years. He has served on Right to Life of Michigan committees that were formed to address ballot issues such as assisted suicide and embryonic stem cell research. He also served on the board of directors of Lutherans For Life of Michigan as pastoral counselor. He has also written essays for their publication, Lifelines. One of Pastor Clark's essays has been published in the book The Right Choice, edited by Paul Stallsworth and published by Abingdon Press. Pastor Clark believes that the pro-life cause is the single moral and cultural battle of our times.
Pastor Clark was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, but has lived most of his life in Michigan. He graduated from Concordia University, Mequon, Wisconsin, with Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. He then attended Concordia Theological Seminary at Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree in preparation for the Office of Ministry. After graduating from the seminary in 1988, he received the Divine Call to be the pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fowler, Michigan, where he continues to serve.
Pastor Clark and his wife, Elizabeth have three children (Alexander, Thaddeus, and Abigail Rose).
